The Data Management Team Leader within the Account Static space is the primary contact for all aspects related to the creation and maintenance of Account related Static Data. This role works with various internal teams to ensure the required Account related tasks are completed timeously across various platforms, both locally and globally. This person will work with various counterparties to deliver a seamless and integrated experience to our clients.h2>
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide team leadership for the Account Static & Opening team
Assist the Operations Manager with recruitment activities as required.
Lead the ongoing performance management and development of staff members in the team with support from the Operations Manager.
Provide oversight to team deliverables and ensure the team is adequately staffed and trained.
Building and maintaining a positive working relationship with all team members as well as other stakeholders in the business
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient delivery
Work closely with the Implementation team regarding client pipe-line and associated requirements
Monitor long-term requirements and ensure impacted parties are kept informed of developments
Assist with all aspects regarding the Account Static requirements, including:
Setting up new funds
Maintaining existing funds
Engaging with external parties regarding fund setups
Opening accounts, both locally and globally
Setup Beneficiaries on banking platforms
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Related experience required in a similar role where you have been responsible for maintaining account static on various systems is essential.
Minimum of five years working experience in a data driven role
Previous people management and leadership experience essential
Strong ability to work independently under pressure and with appropriate urgency, excellent follow-up habits.
Strong oral and written communication skills, able to present information in a clear, concise manner.
Able to build and maintain positive working relationships (internally and externally).
Proven success at collaborating to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and foster clear communication channels.
Work style characterized by high level of precision and attention to detail.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing business priorities.
