Operational Technical Support Manager: Alternative Administration (Prescient Fund Services)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing technical oversight t in the Alternative Administration Hedge team which includes:
  • To enhance efficiencies within the existing hedge fund book to improve and systemize processes.
  • To deliver new fund implementations to the team and provide training and support
  • To provide training for fund administrators and Team leaders with regards to new processes and clients
  • To support the team with technical queries in terms of systems and processes on an ongoing basis
  • To assist the team’s (Fund Accounting and Production Support) with system queries and issues before any items are logged to the ICT team
  • Responsible for onboarding of new clients and first month NAV review
  • First point of contact, along with the Head of Alternative Administration, for new client relationships until handover point
  • To build operational efficiencies withing the team to cater for volume

• Liaise with internal stakeholders for queries, projects and requests – included and not limited to Prescient departments and teams, Prescient Finance, IT, Compliance and Internal Audit functions, ensuring all requests are resolved; and control objectives and changes are properly communicated and dealt with by the Operational Teams
• To liaise with external stakeholders and clients for queries, projects and requests – included and not limited to auditors, and Clients, ensuring all requests are resolved; and control objectives and changes are properly communicated and dealt with by the Operational Teams
• To interact and support the Client Implementation function and Project Office in allocating and onboarding new funds into the Production Teams and dealing with new requests, regulatory changes and client build requests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Financial Markets Honours Graduate (Finance / Investments / Accounting) required
