To provide key support to Prescient Investment Management clients and oversight of the outsourced fund administration service. This critical role requires someone passionate about client service and delivery. You will apply your knowledge and experience of retail client relationship management and fund administration processes and operations to improve the client experience in a key role of this dynamic team. The purpose of the role is to build and manage relationships with retail clients and is focused on ensuring that their needs are met, and that they are satisfied with the services and/or products provided by Prescient.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain relationships with client and advisors - both local and offshore
  • Respond to external client queries efficiently and assist the Prescient client service team with any client related questions. Assist with the investigation and resolution of all client queries and requests.
  • Monitoring the delivery of the fund administration provider to ensure client service levels are met, issues are resolved timeously and SLA’s are adhered to
  • Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Co-ordination of the client onboarding experience.
  • Facilitating, monitoring and validation of the end-to-end process of all client investments and disinvestments
  • Responsible for client reporting - preparation and distribution of bespoke/special client reports
  • Responsible for assisting with providing input into the design, development, and maintenance of various reports
  • You will work closely with data analysts and developers to ensure best of breed reporting
  • Maintain good internal relationships between various departments within Prescient Investment Management and Prescient Fund Services - work closely with the Performance and Technical marketing teams to provide quality support and service to clients and advisors, for client requests, instructions and query resolution
  • Provide support with Salesforce and maintain accurate and up-to-date information of client portfolios Preparation and maintenance of procedure documentation
  • Improve processes, reduce risk and increase operational efficiencies

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related client relationship management or client service role in Asset Management where your focus has been dealing with retail investment products and clients is essential.
  • Experience in the following Financial Services industries is an advantage: • LISP • Collective Investment Schemes • Retirement Funds • Linked Life Companies • Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial Services Industry, specifically Asset Management
  • Knowledge of relevant Investment administration systems
  • Knowledge of the regulations and legislation that govern the Asset Management industry 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (BCom Accounting, Finance, Investments)
  • Strong Excel skills required
